Blanca knows how to wait. However, I can tell by her
look whether she is pleased or not. Of course, I'm waiting for our new home to move along in the renovation process.

For awhile I got antsy wishing things would hurry up and the ordered kitchen cabinets would arrive and spackling would be completed over night, but that was ridiculous.
Then I thought about Isaiah's prophecy of a coming Messiah. Isaiah started his ministry in 740 B.C. It ended in approximately 681 B.C. Each generation wondered if He was coming during his/her life time. Each virgin wondered if she would be the chosen one. That was a very, very long "wait."
But God's timing is perfect. And we are blessed that we need wait no longer, as He has come. Let us open our hearts and receive.
